Basketball Wives’ Draya Michele reportedly canceled an appearance at an LGBT nightclub in West Hollywood, California recently because there were too many “f*** and d****” in attendance, a promoter for the club tells TMZ. Michele was paid to host an event at Penthouse Nightclub last Sunday evening, but allegedly bailed after seeing the crowd.
The reality star is firing back at the club, telling TMZ she did not make the homophobic comments and, in fact, never even showed up for her scheduled appearance. She says she canceled in advance because she was sick, and then the club owner threatened to trash her in the media for being a no-show.
Reps for the Penthouse Nightclub say Draya was paid $2500 in advance to host the event, and her absence cost the club thousands of dollars. They plan to sue the Basketball Wives star.
